22:14: A New Westminster-Everett southbound is about to depart Thornton Yard (Port Mann) for the 24-mile trip through Gyproc (Liverpool), Brownsville, Townsend, Colebrook, and White Rock to the USA-Canada border (BNSF mile 119.6). The train is generally comprised of empty return traffic from the BNSF and loads from CN's lines in British Columbia and Alberta, mostly forest and petro-chemical products. The yellow line on the roadway is the 6000-foot mark of Thornton's PF yard, just east of the old Sullivan Street crossing. |
