Out of the Fraser Valley and into the mountains past Hope, culled from the 1914 map "New Westminster and Yale" by the British Columbia Department of Lands. The final part of the Great Northern's "second main line" from Spokane to the Fraser Valley required running rights on the Canadian Pacific's Kettle Valley Railway and the Canadian Northern Pacific Railway.
